The kinds and types of literary works are quite many. There many styles and way that an author can write and each work is considered as part of literature. There are main genres to this though and they are fiction and non fiction. After that comes the types, poems and poetry. And the subcategory of prose, the novel, short story and the novella.

The enjoyment people get from it stems from the aesthetics that poetry presents as itself as. The written style is meant to evoke a persons emotions and feelings.
